Vrboska
Vrbovska is found about 15th century although it has been populated since Roman times. Vrboska lies in a picturesque cove at the end of a long bay. It is surrounded with pinewood forest and lovely beaches. The churches of Vrboska house the greatest cultural treasures of the island of Hvar.
The village offers an unusual sight on a karst island: houses rising on both shores of a channel spanned by several small bridges. Today main Vrbovska economy is based on tourism during summer, fishing, agriculture, wine and olive oil. Vrbovska is during summer season full of tourists, lot of night festivals and as other places in Island Hvar it is surrounded by pine forest and many beautiful beaches.
